3:30 AM onsen hot spring raid! With hot volcanic mineral water piped in 24x7 from below the surface of the earth, some of the baths at this inn are always available to enjoy. If we were to buy a house in this community, then we might be able to pay to have hot spring water piped directly into our home too! This is a benefit of living so close to the volcano which is Mt. Fuii. And by the way, this late night onsen visit was all Yumiko’s idea. She’s always been the bold one of us two.
