Day eighteen ocean swim

Teeth chattering today. It feels like winter now. There’s no one at the beach. This feels like a challenge, but it’s not. It’s rehearsal for when life really gets hard, and I push through without complaint, like a difficult day at work—like today, in fact. But, I got through the workday, just like the rest of the adults in the room. Heck, I only complained once, and that was to my wife, but that’s what we’re there for each other for. This cold plunge in the sea is nothing. Nothing at all. It’s fun in fact compared to work sometimes. But, maybe tomorrow will be a better day? It’ll be a Tuesday after all. That’s ususlly better than Monday. And I never complain about my swim, warm or cold, never once a Monday or a Tuesday as I scamper over the wet sand and into the sea. Not one single whimper, whine or complaint.
