Two weeks back in the USA and I feel like my spirit has returned to America. I wasn’t fully home that first week, not half back; doing my work and tending to life, while much of me was elsewhere dreaming like I always do when it’s time for big change. But, I’m back now. Which is good, as our present life ain’t done, as there’s work and play and parenting yet to do and not a day to be lost in a new life which still isn’t. But it’s fun knowing that what isn’t is on it’s way to becoming what is. It’s living life as on a small train running through splendid countryside between cities. We keep busy and entertained in our seats while moving and watching the landscape pass, eating rice-balls and sipping tea; reading and doing work, or just gazing and dreaming. And then the train arrives at our next stop, and we gather our things and get out and step down—out of the station and into our somewhere new. ”So, this is our home now, eh?” And so life will be…for a few years or a decade until maybe we return to one day get back on the train. It’s good to know that the station is there and always open. And that the train is always idling and ready to go…
