The Season of Philosophy is Real

  • This thought might sound a bit morose, though it isn't such to me. It seems there can come a time in life when our work is done - this does not mean we are ready to die. Oh no! Not at all. - and we can relax in contented peace. I think for some this might be the time when their careers are over and they can stay home and do what they want, go golfing or travel, or do other things, or nothing at all. That's different it seems, though it's mostly the same. I feel that way now...since the book is done...and my story is told, the things I wanted to say, felt compelled to say. Now, I can carry on living. I'll likely still get up at 4:00 AM each morning and work hard throughout the day; however there won't be as much of that old gnawing ache to do that "important" something in life which marks the life as having lived. Now that this is done I can be at peace that my life wasn't just the passing of time.
ABOUT

Going Alone was begun by Kurt Bell in an effort to help others understand and manage  the recognition of the apparent indifference of the universe to our well being, happiness or even our existence, and to find ways to make a good life in spite of this fact.
