After more than a year of daily Bible study it’s becoming clear that every tribe needs a story. The Jewish people have the story of Moses, the Christians the story of Christ, the Muslims the story of Muhammad, and the LDS their story of Joseph Smith. The stories bind the tribe and provide identity and guidance, and maybe a happy ending if you’re an insider. Question the story, and you question the tribe... It’s no wonder we once burned the disbeliever. Tribes need their stories - and the story is best when everyone believes their story is true.
