STOIC POETRY | Crossing now from the place...

Updated: Sep 4, 2021

Crossing now from the place where I share life with humanity, into the vast void of indifference. At once I find my own voice again. At last the muse returns.

I wrote this to describe the feeling I get when I hike away from Siberia ghost town, towards and into the low mountains to the north. There's a point when I seemingly cross over from "civilized" lands into the more forgotten landscape where no one now seems to go. If I couldn't hear my #Muse speaking to me before that point, then I might begin to hear her whisper now. #GoingAlone is, in part, about venturing alone far enough into #Wildness to begin to hearing what the emptiness has to say.

My name is Kurt Bell.

You can learn more about The Good Life in my book Going Alone.

Be safe... But not too safe.
